Meet Santa Jim

Virginia Santa Claus is a veteran owned small business, with a business license, clean background checks and entertainer’s liability insurance. Santa Jim Melvin retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-eight years of active service. He has resided in Fairfax County Virginia since 2015, when he and Mrs. Claus, who manages his appearances, transferred to the area for his final two duty stations. Becoming Santa Claus is a natural progression of Santa Jim’s life experiences.

Santa Jim is a real bearded Santa whose goal is to provide the best Santa Claus experience possible. Magic happens as he puts on his carefully curated, traditional fur trimmed red suit and styles his snowy white beard. When you first see Santa Jim, you believe. He is Santa Claus.

Santa Jim is a graduate of the International University of Santa Claus and The Worldwide Santa Claus Network Santa School. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS). He is also an official volunteer Santa for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
